Founder & Managing Director
Samuel Lee is the Founder and Managing Director of Ataris, a maritime technology company focused on deploying digital twin solutions across global shipping fleets. He is a former Royal Navy submariner, bringing first-hand operational experience of complex marine environments to his work.
With over a decade in the shipping industry, he has worked across technical ship management, retrofit delivery and early-stage technology ventures, developing a practical understanding of how vessels are operated, maintained and modified over time.
At Ataris, Samuel leads the development and deployment of Mari-Twin, working with major operators to translate complex, real-world vessel environments into accessible, data-driven tools. His work focuses on making digital twins commercially relevant, supporting more efficient planning, reducing rework and enabling better decision-making across geographically distributed technical and operational teams.
